Ok we are leaving you with one more tonight Cathi has stopped by twice and we will not complain.
We leave you with a breath taking canvas

I have another project to share, this one uses the most amazing branch and hanging bird cage chippie!! This is a large chipboard piece about 28x28 cm, too large for a layout I thought, so I really wanted to do a canvas with it!!

I started the canvas by spraying several Lindy's Stamp Gang mists over the canvas. I then started layering stamping. I used several of my background stamps from Visible Image and their lovely Imagine, Dream, Inspire stamp set.
I treated the chipboard with gesso first then brown mist and crackle stamping for a tree bark look. I misted the lovebirds in the bird cage in blue, adding a script stamp in copper over top.
For a finishing touch, I stamped butterflies onto acetate with Stazon Ink and added that to the canvas. I added some misted lace and covered it in gesso.
I really had a lot of fun building up this canvas. The chipboard piece was an amazing focal point to us and it is one of my favorite pieces I have ever worked with. Thanks so much for looking!!
Yet another Design has come through - Now I have the urge to Scrap
Jo has also stopped by tonight with a sweet chippy layout

My daughter has been dancing since she was just 5 years old and I have tried over the years to scrapbook each of the groups and solo dances she has learnt and competed with.  This year is her last with the under 10s groups and it was fun to pull all the wonderful photos of one of her song and tap group – “elegance” taken over a 3 year period and prepare this layout.
I wanted the layout to be a bit grungy, similar to the costuming and song.  Molossi had supplied me with a chipboard park bench as part of my September kit and immediately my thoughts were to use it to replicate the photo of my daughter in this dance.  The chipboard fence from Molossi also fitted well with the layout and gave it the “English” feel which suited the song.
I sponged white paint onto both the chipboard pieces and sprayed some bubblegum glimmermist onto the fence to pull in the pink tones I had used with the papers.
The background was just a grey cardstock with a Crafter’s Workshop chicken mesh template and black ink used to give the background effect.  Some raw cardboard torn and added in on either sides, a few rolled flowers created with a Sizzix die and some leaves and flourishes also cut from dies , a Molossi padlock with twine through it and a couple of punched buttons completed the embellishment cluster.
Of course the journaling is always important on these pages, documenting the journey – on the back of the pages I keep a record of each of the placings the group has received during the time they have been performing it.
Thanks for dropping by.

Its Thursday again...Oh my where are the weeks going?
On the up side being near the end of the month means Design Team designs start to flow in.
Tonight its Cathi stopping by - Never failing to please.

All she wants to do is dance!! I have that Don Henley 80s song running through my head now!! My daughter is addicted to ballet, and as she goes up grades, her teacher has encouraged her. She wants to be a professional dancer and it is great to see her so passionate about something. It is a competitive world but if she is serious about this, we will be here to help her along. (Though the idea of long distances travelled for all of this is something I wouldn't mind not having to do lol!!)
I thought it was wonderful when I saw the ballet themed chipboard in my DT pack this month!! I added several pieces of the ballet chipboard spraying them with mist, I built up the scene using some embossed paper and die cuts and a few flowers then placed my fussy cut photo of my daughter into the layout. I got my inspiration for this type layout from the gorgeous work of Britt Sviggum and really wanted to try it
I added some molding paste through a damask stencil and gorgeous script and crackle stamps from Visible Image and some really bright mist from Shimmerz. I had a lot of fun making this!!

For some reason this email went astray (Don't we all love technology?)
But we are glad we have this now to showcase Marelle's lovely design

I decided to paint this shadow box with a little bit of modeling paste and used derivan Black paint from Molossi and give it 2 coats.
I left the shadow box simple as it can be an interchangeable piece of home décor! It fits a 9x9 layout , and you can use it for photos, quotes, messages etc!
I used the beautiful fabric flowers from Molossi
Products used : Derivan Black paint from Molossi, fabric flowers from Molossi, Pritt gel glue, Monte Marte modeling paste.

Cathi has also stopped by tonight with some lovely chipboard shares.
We had a wonderful time on our recent holiday to Tuscany! My daughter Aisling is hard to capture in photos, she is forever making silly faces, grumpy faces or just running away... I managed to get this great photo of her and her sister Aine in an alleyway in a local village called Lari near where we were staying.
There are some gorgeous cobblestones in the photo, so I used my Molossi cobblestone chippies to echo them on my layout, covering them with gorgeous colored modeling paste Gritty Graphite Texturez to really give them amazing texture!
I love the diverse designs that Molossi have created, there is really chipboard to suit every layout, I couldn't believe they had the perfect cobblestones to suit this fun photo!

The next two shares for the day are coming from Marelle, Marelle has been quite the busy bee as we can see.
The first project is using Molossi MDF Letter Cuts

PRODUCTS USED:
Black and White Chevron Washi Tape
Koala Brand paper flowers (Molossi)
Koala Brand foam squares (Molossi)
Black and white twine
Pritt glue
Versamark Pine cone ink
Y letter (Molossi)
words cut from patterned scrapbooking paper
Washi tape is one of the most versatile embellishment !
For this project I covered the letter with the chevron washi, added foam tape and placed the flowers on top, more foam squares under the words which have been inked with the pinecone ink, then tied the twine in bows and placed onto the letter!
I think this would be a quick and easy project for children who are bored during the upcoming school hols!!

The second one is using our Chipboard Shadow Box

Be sure to check out Marelle's blog for more great creative ideas
I have three cute shares for you today, the first one comes from Gail with what she refers to a cheeky moment:

I finally found inspiration for the Molossi Heart & Cupid Chipboard from a cheeky moment at our wedding
I ripped each layer of paper and inked the edges
The Heart chipboard was covered in gesso, then inked and sprayed with glimermist. The cupids were covered in gesso and the painted with metallic paint.
I used the Kaisercraft True Romance papers & ribbon roses which were sprayed with 2 colours of glimmermist and Prima flourishes.
I also used a piece of ribbon and knotted it at intervals to add a bit more texture.
